BOARD VALUES, PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICES

We empower and equip everyone to live fully alive with God through:

  • Our relationship and intimacy with God, Jesus and Holy SPIRIT
Value: God is good (Psalm 145:9, James 1:17)

Our relationship and intimacy with God, Jesus and Holy Spirit

Core Value: God is good (Psalm 145:9, James 1:17)
Principle: The true nature of God as good, joyful, kind, and loving is reflected in our thoughts, words, prayers and interactions.
Practice:
  • We express the fruit of the Spirit as equally important as the gifts of the Spirit.
  • We live hope filled lives joyfully anticipating the expression of the goodness of God.
  • We’re determined to love God’s nature and be carriers of His joyful presence.

Core Value: God is relational (Ephesians 6:10)
Principle: Provide opportunities for a lifestyle of intimate and impactful encounter with God.
Practice:
  • We facilitate joyful partnership with Holy Spirit, not only our programs or staff.
  • We pair biblical teaching with impactful experiences that encourage consistent and intimate life-shaping encounter with God.

Core Value: God is available and accessible (John 15:4-6)
Principle: Kingdom fruit is the result of our resting and remaining in God, who is always with us.
Practice:
  • We do not differentiate between “ministry” and “daily life” – it is all “life in God”.
  • We gather around God believing His presence produces results that far surpass anything we could ask or imagine.

Our relationship with each other

Core Value: Community is relational (1 Peter 2:7, Romans 12:10)
Principle: We facilitate relational interaction and sense of shared journey that embraces intimacy, vulnerability, and authenticity.
Practice:
  • We are attentive to His voice and listen well to each other.
  • We are the beloved of God which results in our loving each other well.
  • We honor and appreciate diversity within unity.

Core Value: Community is honoring (Hebrews 10:24)
Principle: We speak to the treasure in others and choose to see them as God does.
Practice:
  • We are proponents of change in the context of honesty and encouragement.
  • We display encouragement in the expression of God’s heart toward each other.
  • We allow room for diverse approaches and embrace people where they are, calling them up into their identity in Christ as they are becoming mature sons and daughters.

Core Value: Joy-filled community (Zephaniah 3:17, Proverbs 17:22)
Principle: A company of people who reflect the joy in becoming more like Him.
Practice:
  • We laugh at our own mistakes and embrace the encouragement of God and friends.
  • We demonstrate joyful vulnerability to the Goodness of God in every situation.
  • We are preoccupied by the promises of God in our lives and in the lives of others.

Our lifestyle

Core Value: Worship and prayer as a lifestyle (Matthew 6: 9-13 Lord’s Prayer, Matthew 18: 19-20)
Principle: Worship and prayer create an atmosphere of intimacy where the promises and provisions of heaven come to earth.
Practice:
  • We worship as the foundation of intercession and agree with the voice of God.
  • We pray intent on listening and praying in line with God’s heart.
  • We’ve determined to worship our majestic and sovereign God with joy and thanksgiving displacing the enemies influence.
  • We’ve determined to pray from the posture of being the adored and favored of God.

Core Value: Lifestyle of adventure and exploration (Psalms 100:4, Colossians 3:15)
Principle: We celebrate risk and delight in entrusting God with the results of our obedience.
Practice:
  • We facilitate adventurous opportunity to position ourselves for the impossible as we partner with God.
  • We provide opportunities for our “yes” to become the doorway to Kingdom breakthrough.
  • We’re determined to live in expectation. It’s God’s good pleasure to give us the Kingdom.
  • We’re determined to look for adventure, not rescue. Seeing the opportunity to see who God is for us and in us through every adversity.

Core Value: Lifestyle of rest and peace (Philippians 4:8, Isaiah 30:15a)
Principle: Rest is the ultimate position of power and peace is the pathway to possibilities.
Practice:
  • We occupy a position of rest with joy, quietly confident and passionately focused on our promises.
  • We pray from a place of peace and expressed positives, understanding challenges as opportunities.
  • We’ve determined to practice our peace daily and embrace times of stillness and meditation

Our encountering, empowering and equipping

Core Value: Transformation through encountering (1 John 4:17)
Principle: Facilitate both knowledge and encounters with God that result in transformation of how we think, speak, act, and see.
Practice:
  • We gather around God’s presence believing we become like Jesus by being with Him.
  • We pray with authority, speak with power, bless with purpose, and keep our eyes on Jesus.

Core Value: Transformation through empowering (Philippians 4:8, 3 John 2)
Principle: Develop healthy kingdom people who are rooted in love, renewed in mind, and empowered to release what they have received.
Practice:
  • We speak into and empower who people are and are becoming.
  • We train in partnership with the New Testament ministry modeled by Jesus and embodied by every believer.
  • We’re determined to live present-future lives, cooperating with Holy Spirit maturing our new man.

Core Value: Transformation through equipping (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Principle: Develop New Testament Kingdom maturity in the new creation.
Practice:
  • We emphasize the New Testament and the development of spiritual fruit and gifts.
  • We equip toward unity, experiential understanding, and fullness in Christ.

Core Value: Transformation through freedom with focus (Galatians 5:1)
Principle: Choices and opportunities are emphasized rather than demands and restrictions.
Practice:
  • We provide options and resources that support diverse development processes.
  • We create momentum through collaborative untamed ideas, honest feedback and impactful implementation consistent with the heart of God.
