Kim Casselberry
Kim’s heart-desire is for everyone to know the true Jesus revealed in the Bible, His Word. That they would experience His incredible love and freedom we have in Him, because of Him. Kim loves and delights in the fact that God created us uniquely, yet in His image, with plans and purpose for our lives. She likes to share this with people who might not know Him, and even ones who do.
Kim grew up in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. She attended Northern Michigan University in Michigan's upper peninsula. She loved being by the water, Lake Michigan, the night sky and northern lights! After leaving the upper peninsula, it was time to go back to school or move out West. Divine intervention said, “Lake Tahoe.” After moving to Lake Tahoe, within the first year she met her husband Rollen, then had two children whom they raised in the church. Kim taught Sunday School and served for 17 years before God moved her on.
The road trip took Kim to neighboring Reno, Nevada. There she participated in worship and prayer groups at various churches under the umbrella of Acts 4 Prayer Group and www.AwakenReno.org, both looking to God for city transformation. God created a passion in her for worship and prayer and to so do in freedom and truth. She’s delighted to participate in these gatherings in her own community and around Lake Tahoe!
Kim says, “I love where God has brought me. I enjoy Him, my family and friends, and this place is my second home.”
